Mechanical System Details

  • Water Source Heat Pump: Custom distribution ductwork was installed to provide both heating and cooling to the space.

  • VRF System: Multiple VRF condensing units were connected to ducted air handling units and ceiling cassettes to provide additional coverage throughout the space.

  • Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs): ERVs were implemented to introduce fresh air into the space while recovering energy from the air being exhausted.

This engineered project was successfully executed through meticulous planning and coordination by our operations team. Integrating a complex VRF system into an active retail environment was no small feat and required a diligent approach to minimize disruptions. The majority of the work was completed after hours to avoid impacting the client’s day-to-day operations—while still maintaining the high quality and attention to detail that VRF installations demand.

Working closely with the design team, we identified substantial cost-saving opportunities to help keep the project on budget and on schedule. Material handling, delivery scheduling, site setup, and daily tear-downs were all carefully coordinated to ensure the client’s business remained uninterrupted—effectively delivering a mechanical refresh behind the scenes.
