Mechanical System Details

• Completed an air conditioning retrofit to improve occupant comfort within central areas of the school that previously operated without cooling.

• Installed split DX Cooling Coils within a large central air handling unit to integrate new cooling capability into the existing ventilation system.

• Supplied and installed (2) large Split Condensing Units serving the new DX cooling coils, including refrigerant piping, insulation, supports, and associated refrigeration accessories.

• Coordinated rooftop equipment installation, craning, and commissioning activities to ensure safe and efficient integration within the active school environment.

• Completed startup, testing, and commissioning of the new cooling systems, verifying airflow, cooling performance, and operational functionality with the existing HVAC infrastructure.

End result was a successful AC retrofit that delivered conditioned air to key interior areas of the school that previously lacked cooling, significantly improving occupant comfort and overall building performance. Careful coordination and phased execution allowed the project to be completed efficiently with minimal disruption to ongoing school operations.
